A place to settle in
Because there are only four apartments, we can look after the house and welcome guests personally. The house is set back from the road, with space to unpack, work, cook and rest. If you need directions, a taxi or a local recommendation, we are nearby.
Walk to the beach and cafés
North Cliff, the beach, cafés, groceries and yoga shalas are all within an easy walk.
Room for four
Two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own hot-water bathroom.
Easy to work from
Fast Wi-Fi, work desks and power backup make longer working stays practical.

The shared open terrace is there for yoga, a little sun or an unhurried evening.

Free on-site parking is available if you are arriving by car.

The photographs are from different homes in the same house. The layout and finish are the same; what changes is the floor and the view from the balcony.
A quiet lane, with everyday places nearby
Om Shanti sits back from Thiruvambadi Road in a residential lane. North Cliff, Varkala Beach, Black Beach, cafés, groceries, yoga shalas and rickshaw stands are all close by; most are around seven to ten minutes away on foot.
Varkala Shivagiri railway station is a short rickshaw ride away, and Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is the nearest airport. If you would like help arranging a taxi or explaining the final turn to your driver, just tell us.

A few practical things
Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. If your journey makes those times difficult, ask us; when the calendar allows, we will do our best to help.
Payment and confirmation
For a short stay, the first night’s payment confirms your booking. We will send the details after we have checked your dates. Nothing is charged when you send the enquiry form.
Booking directly or on Airbnb
You are welcome to book directly with us or use Airbnb, whichever feels more comfortable. The apartment, the welcome and the care are the same.
Getting here and around
Varkala Shivagiri railway station is a short rickshaw ride away, and Trivandrum is the nearest airport. We can help with directions or a local taxi. Once you arrive, the beaches, cafés and everyday shops are easy to reach on foot.
Keeping the house quiet
People come here to rest, work and sleep well, so we do not host parties or loud gatherings. We simply ask everyone to be considerate of the other guests and our neighbours.
Families and longer stays
Families are very welcome, and each apartment sleeps up to four. A kitchen, washing machine, work space, reliable Wi-Fi and free parking make longer stays comfortable too.
